Giuliano Gemma $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Giuliano Gemma (born September 2, 1938) is an Italian actor. Born in Rome, he first worked as a stuntman, then was offered real acting parts by director Duccio Tessari, starting with the film Arrivano i titani (1962). He also made an appearance in Luchino Viscontis Il Gattopardo as Garibaldis General. Gemma later went on to star in spaghetti westerns, where he enjoyed great success playing the hero in films such as A Pistol for Ringo (Una pistola per Ringo), Blood for a Silver Dollar (Un dollaro bucato) and Day of Anger (I giorni dellira). He was sometimes credited as Montgomery Wood. Giuliano Gemmas career survived the demise of the genre, and he is still active today on Italian television. The bounty hunter eventually catches up, but he is immediately captured and tortured by the outlaw who then robs and kills a few of the hapless townsfolk. This causes the woman to reconsider her actions. She frees the bounty hunter, and a violent shoot-out ensues. In the end, all of the bad-guys are slain, and the bounty hunter finds himself a rich man. Il Prezzo del Potere Italian director Tonino Valerii recreates a fistful of JFK conspiracy theories in Western settings with this bizarre look at the assassination of President James Garfield in 1890 Dallas. Granted, the assassination really occurred in Washington in 1881, but Valerii and screenwriter Massimo Patrizi don't let their allegory be ruined by facts. Anyway, it's a well-made film, with cinematography by Stelvio Massi and a suitably stentorian soundtrack by Luis Enrique Bacalov, but its appeal is probably limited to fans of Euro-oaters. The Spaghetti Western Orchestra, formerly the Ennio Morricone Experience, are a quintet of musicians who perform music from spaghetti westerns, especially the music of Ennio Morricone. John Shand, reviewing their act in 2004, praised its inventive humour, saying that their versatility is a constant surprise and regular source of laughs.
