Certainly you have heard of "Alpha Males" before. Most people associate this term with an animal species: the biggest, baddest gorilla or lion that rules over the others and gets first crack at the food and the most desirable females.

In the minds of some men, the whole idea of "Alpha Males" has somewhat of a negative implication. Maybe to them it means the big jock who used to rule their high school, bullying the weaker kids and getting the most desirable chicks. Make this a part of your routine from now on -- you always need to be increasing your social network. I know a lot of men who have studied "pickup" material because they basically want to learn how to be an Alpha Male. A percentage of these wanna-be pickup artists get pretty decent with talking to women, and will occasionally get lucky, yet they continue to feel intimidated or hostile towards other guys - in particular men whom they assume are more handsome or socially dominant than they are, or the dudes who are getting more flirty looks and attention from girls.

When you're out at bars, clubs parties or in other social situations, the chief goal is to meet girls, but developing new friendships with Alpha Males is going to pay off big dividends in the long term. So when you're out at the bars or clubs, or in any type of social scenario -- and you spot dudes who have cool, positive energy and are obviously having fun (and getting attention from women) -- introduce yourself to them. How To Become An Alpha Male, Tip #2: The next bit of advice on how to become an Alpha Male is that you have to stop being "wishy-washy" and be DECISIVE when you are around women. Lay out a path for women to follow, and they will respect you for it. I'm not trying to sound like a chauvenist here, but it's the truth. Most girls would rather not be in the position of having to figure out where to have dinner, or which movie to go see. The truth is, when a man is continually deferring to her and asking HER to come up with the plans and ideas about what to do, she will actually feel slightly uncomfortable when she's with him -- because he does not project masculinity and leadership. It seems like he is comfortable with making decisions. You need to make evident to women, through your words and actions, that you're the type of guy who can provide her with emotional security.

Whenever there is a decision to be made, it's important for you to be able to step up and lay out a plan that sounds fun. Seriously, even if it's as unimportant as deciding where to go have coffee, or eat. Women won't always agree with your decisions 100%, but they respect a man who has a plan and is able to "enroll" her in his plans by being dynamic and enthusiastic.

How To Become An Alpha Male, Tip #3: This principle is based on a rule of showbiz: "leave 'em wanting more". True Alpha Males are busy people on the move. They will not give you infinite amounts of their time. Your mindset should be the same when you are interacting with girls. You always want to be the one to wrap up the conversation and be on your way -- whether you're vibing with a hottie at a club, or on the phone with a girl planning to see her again.

The regular guy will talk... and talk...(about nothing of any significance)... until the woman winds up saying, "I have to go find my friend" or "it was nice talking to you, but I need to be up early tomorrow..." As an Alpha Male, you must ALWAYS have a purpose in mind when you converse with a woman, and accomplish that objective before the interaction ends. At a bar, the goal might be to get her phone number and email address. If you chat with her on the Internet, the object could be to establish when you're going to see her next. The bottom line is, it's critical for you to have a game plan, a plan, and a method to execute it.

Don't ever drag out the conversation to the point where the girl has to leave first. This places you in a position of weakness, because it makes you look like you've got nothing else going on When YOU end it first, you leave her wondering... "hmm, he isn't like most guys I've met. What other things are going on in his life? Does he need to go see some other girl? Why is he always too busy to chat longer than five minutes when I ring his phone?"
