Venture: The death of traditional portrait images

Venture launched in 2000 when professional photographer Brian Glover-Smith decided it was time to show traditional, stiff portraits the door and create a new contemporary concept in portrait photography.

He created a company that doesn’t merely take portrait photos, but which captures stories and emotions in professional portrait photographs that can transform a home.

The photos taken by Venture’s professional photographers can reveal the true identity of a person. Best results are achieved when the subject is relaxed, at ease and having fun in front of the camera – rather than posing uncomfortably in an unnatural way.

That is why with a Venture photo studio experience people can bring props, pets and all sorts of paraphernalia to create a portrait that captures what they are all about. The more props and the more personal they are, the better.

Your portrait photo experience will start with a discussion with the professional photographer where they get to know the real you. During the discussions you will be given plenty of tips on what to do, and what not to do during your session with the photographer. Then it is off to the state-of-the-art photography studio.
 
Once the genuine, professional portrait photos have been taken, Venture’s input does not stop there.

The portrait photos are then hand-crafted into bespoke pieces of contemporary art. Because everyone is an individual, every Venture portrait is different.

The end result of the photo experience is a framed portrait that can breathe life into whatever space it is placed in your home.
