In 1999, the Stars won their very first Stanley Cup after defeating the Buffalo Sabres. The team again made it to the Stanley Cup finals in 2000, but lost to the New Jersey Devils. In 2001, the team moved to a new arena, the American Airlines Center. Black, green and gold are the team’s colors. The Stars logo consists of a green star outlined in gold.
